- Complete the process of transferring or closing the fundraiser
When You Should End the Fundraiser
If the bank transfer has already been set up for the fundraiser within Give A Hand, your best option is to end the fundraiser. This is because the transferring of funds will happen automatically, so working directly with the bank is the most direct route to your desired outcome.

Please note that you’ll likely need to show a government-issued photo ID as well as the obituary or death certificate to complete this option.
When You Should Transfer the Fundraiser
If funds have not yet been transferred or if the beneficiary has yet to set up bank transfers, your best option is likely to transfer the fundraiser to a new beneficiary.
We’ll work with you to make this process as easy as possible. We may require some additional information, such as an obituary or death certificate, a copy of the will or other legal documentation, and an email address + government-issued photo ID of the new beneficiary.
